With over 20 years as a public defender, Maud understands the justice system. She will prosecute all criminals without regard to their background, and will use all available mental health resources to manage threats from the emotionally disturbed.

Maud will serve the law-abiding and prosecute the lawless. She will establish special units to tackle crime in NYCHA areas and address homelessness, ensuring violent offenders are off the streets.

She will repeal Bragg’s “Day One Memo” which downgraded 60% of major felonies to misdemeanors, advocating for the reversal of harmful bail reform policies, including cashless bail, to make NYC safer for everyone.
